Spotlight: Bobby Cho, Gotham FC Operating Owner
Bobby Cho – a career entrepreneur with a decade-long track record of success – was looking for his next big investment. An avid soccer enthusiast, Cho began exploring options within the NWSL. The greater Philadelphia native quickly identified Gotham FC as a mission-driven club aligned with his values and primed for exponential growth.

Cho joined the club’s ownership group in 2022. Alongside his fellow owners, he works tirelessly and utilizes his entrepreneurial background to help facilitate strategic partnerships that drive revenue, enhance club infrastructure, and streamline business operations.
Cho is an active volunteer and supporter of causes that bolster Korean Americans and support marginalized populations. An active alumnus of Villanova University, he sponsors the Cho Family Endowed Scholarship fund for underrepresented students and sits on the board of the University’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.He also serves as a member of the Council of Korean Americans, a national nonprofit organization that aims to advance the national voice and influence of the Korean American community.
Cho is a partner at POA Partners, a diversified principal investment firm across public and private technology-focused investments. Along with his wife, HyeMi, Cho manages their family office, Starry Eyed Tomorrow, which invests in various industries with one simple goal – to make the world a better place.
Previously, Cho spent much of his career helping to build venture-backed, financial technology companies and served as an advisory committee member to Hypersphere Ventures – a venture capital firm building and investing in the blockchain industry.
