Erin Cagle

Erin Cagle joined Gotham FC in July 2024 as the club’s sports scientist. In her role, Cagle works closely with the coaching and performance staff to support athlete development through load monitoring, on-field warmups and conditioning and the design and implementation of training periodization plans. She also leads performance data analysis to help inform decision-making across the club.

Cagle brings years of professional experience in sports science and performance. Prior to joining Gotham FC, she served as a sports scientist with the LA Galaxy for one and a half years and worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Allegiate Gym for one and a half years. She holds certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Certified Sport and Performance Scientist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Cagle earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Florida Southern College and a master’s degree in biokinesiology with a focus in sports science from the University of Southern California.

A dedicated performance specialist, Cagle is passionate about optimizing athlete health and performance through data-driven strategies and individualized training approaches. She focuses on bridging the gap between science and on-field application to support players in reaching their full potential. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys staying active and continuing to expand her knowledge in sports performance.
