PROFESSIONAL
2024 (Gotham FC): Scored her first NWSL goal and registered two assists in seven starts and 16 games. Made her 95th regular season appearance in the final game of the season. 2023 (Gotham FC): Freeman appeared in 10 matches and recorded six starts, helping the team that drafted her to its first NWSL championship title. 2022 (Gotham FC): Freeman appeared in 17 matches with 16 starts during the 2022 season. 2021 (Gotham FC): Played in 11 matches, making eight starts, posting 31 clearances with an 85.7% passing rate. 2020 (Gotham FC): Posted nine clearances, three blocks and three interceptions in her four appearances for the 2020 NWSL Fall Series. 2019 (Gotham FC): Sat out the season season due to injury. 2018 (Gotham FC): In 21 appearances, tallied 65 clearances, 15 blocks and 40 interceptions. 2017 (Gotham FC): Freeman was selected as the 10th overall pick in 2017 NWSL Draft, making 21 appearances her first season, compiling one assist, 71 clearances, 14 blocks and 42 interceptions.
COLLEGE
2013-16 (USC): Freeman made 69 appearances, with 67 starts, scoring two goals and adding nine assists. In 2016, she won a national championship and was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. Freeman was also named to the 2015 NSCAA All-Pacific Region Second Team and was a three-time All-Pac-12 selection.
INTERNATIONAL
Freeman represented the United States on the U-23, U-20 and U-17 Youth National Teams. She was a member of the U-17 World Cup qualifying team.
PERSONAL
Known for her game day outfits, Freeman loves to thrift shop and has a great passion for fashion. Freeman is an eight-year NWSL veteran and has spent all seven seasons with Gotham FC since being drafted tenth overall by the club in the 2017 NWSL Draft. In 2023, she helped bring home the NWSL Championship with the club she spent her entire professional career with.
