PROFESSIONAL:
2024: Made 20 appearances, collecting one goal and two assists. Made her 150th NWSL regular-season appearance that year. 2023: Dunn led Portland to a second-place finish in regular season standings after starting 17 of her 19 regular-season appearances, recording 1,311 minutes, scoring five goals, and adding two assists. 2022: Pregnancy and her return to fitness kept her off the field for most of the 2022 season, but after the birth of her son on May 20, she was able to return to game action for the end of the regular season with Portland Thorns FC. Her season highlight came in the semifinal playoff match when she came off the bench in the 62nd minute and scored the game-winner on dramatic driven shot in the third minute of stoppage time to seal the 2-1 win over San Diego Wave FC. She also played the final 17 minutes of the NWSL Championship Game to help the Thorns defeat the Kansas City Current, 2-0. 2021: In 2021 she helped the Thorns win three trophies: the NWSL Challenge Cup, the Women’s International Champions Cup and the NWSL Shield for finishing atop the league standings but played her final NWSL game of the season on Oct. 10 due to her pregnancy, which she announced a month later. 2018-19: Was a key part of the North Carolina Courage sides that won NWSL titles in 2018 and 2019 2017-18: Played for Chelsea FC in England in 2017. She appeared in 15 matches, recording three goals and six assists. 2014-16: Dunn played for the Washington Spirit. Scored twice in the 2016 NWSL Championship Game as the Washington Spirit and the Western New York Flash tied 1-1 through regulation. Dunn scored a potential game-winner one minute into overtime, but the Flash equalized at the end of overtime and eventual won in penalty kicks. In 2015, she won the Golden Boot after leading the league in goals with 15 in 20 games as well as winning the MVP award. At 23, she became the youngest MVP in the short history of the league. Selected as the first overall pick in the 2014 NWSL Draft by the Washington Spirit.

COLLEGE:
2010-13: Dunn played collegiately for the storied University of North Carolina, where she helped the Tarheels capture their 21st NCAA National Championship in school history. In addition, Dunn was awarded the MAC Hermann Trophy as the top player in college soccer in the country for her junior season, as well as earning All-American honors.

PERSONAL:
Gave birth to her first child, a son Marcel, on May 20, 2022. Crystal Dunn is a U.S. Women’s National Team player, World Cup Champion, two-time Olympian, three-time NWSL champion, three-time NWSL Shield winner, and NWSL MVPAs a member of the USWNT Dunn is an Olympic medalist and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup participant, winning the World Cup title in 2019 and appearing in every match for the 2023 tournament. Additionally, Dunn was nominated for 2023 U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year for her stellar play for club and country. In 2023 with the USWNT, she started in all 14 of her appearances and recorded 970 minutes, while helping the team to one of its best defensive years to date with the lowest goals allowed per game average (0.17) in any year in program history (min. 10 games).
