Gotham FC Announces Complete 2023 NWSL Match Schedule

HARRISON, NJ(February 8, 2023)– NJ/NY Gotham FC and the National Women’s Soccer League today announced the club’s highly anticipated 2023 schedule, consisting of 22 NWSL regular season matches (11 home and 11 away) and six Challenge Cup games (three home and three away). As Gotham FC prepares for a bold reintroduction this season, its roster of NWSL and FIFA Women’s World Cup stars has the home team stacked.

Featuring players anticipated to compete in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer, Gotham FC will host 14 total home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., including 12 home games slated for either Saturdays or Sundays as spotlight weekend events.

Since the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup’s inception in 2020, the Cup will run concurrently with the regular season. The Cup will feature three groups of four teams playing double round-robin matches for a total of six contests before four teams will square off in semifinal matches on Sept. 6. The UKG NWSL Challenge Cup Final is set for Sept. 9.

Gotham FC’s exciting kickoff for 2023 will feature Gotham FC’s jersey sleeve partner, CarMax, as the presenting partner for the regular season, providing exclusive ticket promotions in addition to collaborating on a season-long content series that appears across all Gotham FC platforms.
